This beautiful pair of pendant chandeliers, designed by the renowned Carl Fagerlund for Lyfa in the 1970s, captures the essence of Danish mid-century modern design. The chandeliers feature a striking combination of brass and crystal glass, with a diameter of 48 cm, making them substantial statement pieces for any room. The intricate design of these fixtures showcases Fagerlund’s expertise in blending functionality with aesthetic appeal.
Each chandelier is equipped with six internal light points, ensuring a warm and even illumination that enhances the ambiance of any space.
The brass elements, especially the lower section beneath the crystal, exhibit small scratches and signs of age, enhancing their vintage appeal. The upper brass components remain in excellent condition, free from dents or significant wear. The crystal glass is intact and flawless, preserving the chandeliers’ overall beauty. Additionally, one of the chandeliers still retains its original manufacturer’s label inside, adding to its authenticity and value.
The indicated height of 30 cm refers to the distance between the brass components at the top and bottom. However, by replacing the cable, the chandelier’s height can be extended to suit your needs, allowing it to hang lower, for instance, above a dining table. This customization option makes these highly decorative chandeliers versatile enough to complement a wide range of interior styles, from classic to contemporary.
