Hans-Agne Jakobsson Brass and Opaline Glass Wall Sconces, Model V-220, 1960s

An exquisite pair of wall sconces, Model V-220, designed by Hans-Agne Jakobsson for Markaryd in the 1960s. These vintage Swedish sconces showcase a refined, sculptural design, blending craftsmanship and elegance. The sconces feature beautifully bent brass structures paired with upward-facing, teardrop-shaped opaline glass shades, creating a soft, ambient glow.

As with many of Jakobsson’s pieces from this era, there are slight variations in dimensions from one sconce to another, reflecting the artisanal nature of the production process. Despite these subtle differences, the pair presents harmoniously as a set and is in excellent vintage condition, offering both functional lighting and a touch of mid-century modern charm.

Perfect for any interior looking to incorporate a piece of Scandinavian design heritage.
