“Marcel” Modular Sofa by Kazuhide Takahama for Gavina, 1970s, Cognac Leather

An exclusive and iconic piece, the “Marcel” modular sofa by Kazuhide Takahama for Gavina, 1970s. This remarkable design exemplifies the clean lines and understated elegance characteristic of Takahama’s work. Signed and expertly restored, the set has been reupholstered in premium cognac leather by our skilled artisans, emphasizing both luxury and durability.

The ensemble consists of three modular armchairs and a versatile pouf ottoman, allowing for a variety of configurations to suit your space. The modules and leather are beautifully highlighted by the contrast of brushed aluminum bands that extend from the base to the backrest and the front, adding a refined and minimalistic detail in true Japanese style, reflecting the heritage of the designer.

To ensure the longevity of the premium leather, we recommend avoiding placement under direct, continuous light, especially LED lights, which may accelerate discoloration over time.
