Extremely Rare Pair of Lounge Chairs, Model “126”, Attributed to Eugenio Gerli for Società Compensati Curvi Monza, 1958
This rare and highly collectible pair of lounge chairs is a variant of the iconic Model “126” by Eugenio Gerli, produced by Società Compensati Curvi Monza in 1958.
The chairs feature a beautifully crafted curved plywood shell with walnut canaletto veneer, giving them a timeless and warm aesthetic. The arms are seamlessly integrated into the structure, enhancing the chair’s flowing design. The legs are made from black lacquered iron, adorned with adjustable brass feet.
Each chair comes with two original ivory antique velvet cushions, offering unparalleled comfort and classic elegance. In addition, we have had two additional cushions custom-made in luxurious bouclé fabric from Dedar Milano, further elevating the chairs’ style and comfort.
A true museum-quality set, this pair of chairs stands as a testament to the lasting appeal and genius of Eugenio Gerli’s work.
