An exceptional pair of Barovier & Toso table lamps dating to the late 1970s, preserved as unused old warehouse stock and accompanied by their original labels, factory stickers, certificate of authenticity, and multilingual guarantee booklet.
Entirely handcrafted in Murano, each lamp features a luminous rose-pink blown glass body enriched with genuine gold leaf suspended within the crystal. The elongated baluster form is defined by deep optic ribs that refract the color and gold inclusions, producing subtle variations from blush pink to warm coral and amber depending on the light.
A clear crystal collar separates the upper and lower sections, while the broad fluted base reinforces the elegant architectural composition. The lamps are completed with newly handcrafted ivory fabric shades finished with a delicate pink trim, chosen to complement the Murano glass. When illuminated, the shades diffuse a warm, soft light while enhancing the brilliance of the gold leaf.
Produced during Barovier & Toso’s post-Ercole Barovier period, these lamps reflect the company’s renowned mastery of Murano glass through refined proportions, exceptional craftsmanship, and the sophisticated use of color and precious materials.
Preserved together with their original documentation and never placed into use, this matching pair represents an increasingly rare opportunity for collectors of Murano glass and Italian lighting.
