‘Rabarbaro’ Three-Leaf Floor Lamp by Carlo Giorgi for Bottega Gadda, Italy, 1971

A spectacular and rare sculptural floor lamp designed by Carlo Giorgi for Bottega Gadda, Italy, circa 1970s. This impressive piece features three large rhubarb-shaped leaves in gilt, patinated brass, each meticulously hand-embossed using traditional repoussé and chasing techniques.

The leaves are mounted on elegant, slender stems that rise from a circular base, creating a naturalistic composition that blends organic inspiration with refined artistry. The result is a luminous sculpture that provides soft, indirect lighting while commanding attention as a statement piece.

The rich, aged patina enhances the lamp’s sculptural depth and highlights the exceptional craftsmanship that characterizes Bottega Gadda’s production.
