This sophisticated 1950s chandelier, attributed to Finnish design master Paavo Tynell for Itsu, features hand-worked brass and lustrous lattimo opaline glass with refined gilded accents. Measuring approximately 42 cm in diameter and 68 cm in height (with custom rod adjustments available upon request), the fixture gracefully showcases three light points, each shaped like a delicate flower. The “petals” of each bloom are smooth, white glossy glass shades enriched by golden detailing. A hallmark of Tynell’s artistry, each brass stem is complemented not only by delicately crafted leaves but also by his signature curled brass tendrils—displaying the designer’s unparalleled mastery in metalwork.
These graceful embellishments, along with the chandelier’s lush material contrast, make it a striking centerpiece that brings sophisticated, mid-century artistry into any interior. A true collector’s piece that beautifully balances organic form with refined detailing.
