Gino Sarfatti and Archimede Seguso Single Wall Light for Seguso, 1950s

Designed and manufactured in Italy in the 1960s, this elegant single wall sconce by Gino Sarfatti and Archimede Seguso for Seguso. The piece features a refined chrome-plated metal structure supporting a remarkable hand-blown “bullicante” Murano glass sphere, characterized by countless suspended bubbles that create a mesmerizing and atmospheric light diffusion when illuminated.

The contrast between the polished chrome body and the organic transparency of the glass reflects the sophisticated balance of modernism and Venetian craftsmanship typical of Italian mid-century lighting design. Compact yet highly sculptural, this rare applique works beautifully both as a functional light source and as a decorative statement piece.

Fitted with one E14 bulb socket. The lamp is in very good vintage condition with minor signs of age and use consistent with its period, preserving a beautiful original patina.
